On Mission Where We Live
At TCACP, we believe that the church should be mobile in her community and the Great Commission affects not only what we do globally, but locally. Below you will see the various local mission partnerships TCACP is actively engaged in. Click on the tab beneath each description to learn more about the individual ministries.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
TCACP partners with the state of Maryland and the Howard County FCA ministries to advance the Kingdom through serving both players and coaches at the middle and high school levels. TCACP not only supports financially, but hosts events and provides staffing for various team huddles and clinics.
Open Door America
TCACP partners with Open Door America to provide care and resources to combat intergenerational poverty in the inner city of Baltimore. Working with the Individual Life Plan model, Open Door America comes alongside individuals to assist in creating a healthy lifestyle that touches all facets of life.
Christian Jail Ministry
TCACP partners with Christian Jail Ministry (CJM) to provide Bible studies, Sunday services, and discipleship resources for inmates, chaplains, and correctional personnel. In addition, TCACP partners with CJM to help former inmates connect to local churches for continued discipleship and evangelism after their time served.
Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center
TCACP partners with the Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center of Howard County to provide regular meals for the homeless, as well as allowing Grassroots to use the facility for the annual Cold Weather Shelter, a ministry designed to give the homeless a place to spend their evenings during the month of January.
